What it's for

A structured route back, built around you

Integrated Rehabilitation is for anyone working their way back from something, regardless of age or ability: an operation, an injury, a flare-up of an old problem, or a spell of pain or illness that has left you weaker or less confident in your body. The aim is not just to settle the problem but to rebuild the strength, movement and stamina that let you get on with your life.

Every session starts with a full assessment, so the plan reflects where you actually are rather than where a programme says you should be. From there, your rehabilitation is built in stages: the right exercises, the right loads and the right timeframes for you, reviewed and progressed as your body responds, and joined up with hands-on treatment whenever that helps you move forward.

Scar tissue is part of healing, not a fault in it. After an operation or a significant injury the body repairs with tissue that is tougher and less obliging than what it replaced, and left to itself it can bind to what surrounds it, restricting a joint, limiting how far you can move, or leaving the area feeling tight, numb or unlike the rest of you. What scar tissue and adhesions respond to is use. Graded, well-timed movement encourages them to remodel and regain their glide, which is one reason the loads and timings in your plan matter as much as the exercises themselves.

What to expect

What Integrated Rehabilitation involves

A full assessment

We establish where you are now: what has healed, what still needs work, and what your body is ready for next.

A plan that progresses with you

Exercises and loads set in stages and adjusted as you improve, so you are always moving forward without being pushed too far too soon.

Support at every stage

Guidance, encouragement and hands-on treatment where it helps, from the first careful steps to full strength and confidence.

What it means for you

Progress you can feel, stage by stage

Nothing here is off the shelf. Each stage is chosen for where you are now and what you are working back to, then progressed as you improve, so the plan keeps pace with you rather than the other way round.

Reassurance

Safe, gentle, and at your pace

Everything is done with care and at a pace that suits you, and nothing is rushed or forced. The aim throughout is simple: that you feel in good hands, understood, and steadily better.
